The Xavier University Center for the Advancement of Teaching (XUCAT) will conduct a seminar-workshop for English, Math and Science teachers, chairpersons, deans, program heads and administrators on April 8 to 9, 2011at AVR 1, Old Library building.

The affair titled, “Performance-Based Assessment, Understanding by Design (UbD) for Teaching Math/Science/English and their Exemplars” aims to formulate performance-based, appropriate rubrics and other forms of authentic assessments for Math/Science/English teachers, and prepare initial instructional plans for the subjects.

The seminar fee is P1,800.00 inclusive of seminar kit, materials, certificates, meals and snacks. The workshop is open to all schools in Mindanao.
