The Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts with the History, International Studies and Political Science Department hosted, “Banwa ko Mindanao: a forum on nationalism through Mindanao Culture,” on July 30 at the XU Little Theater with Mindanao historian and peace advocate Rudy Rodil as guest speaker.

Rodil shared on nationalism particularly in relation to the vast ethnicities and communities in Mindanao. Rodil, who used the Visayan language throughout his lecture, imparted that amid our diversity, what is important is creating a climate of mutual respect among Christians, Muslims and Lumads.
