The Jesuit community at the Loyola House and the Xavier University community celebrated the Feast Day of St Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, last July 30. The congregation gathered at 8 am at the Lucas Hall grounds, where a statue of St Ignatius stands, for the wreath laying ceremony, followed by a Eucharistic Celebration at the Immaculate Conception Chapel.  A simple banquet at the Covered Courts capped the program.
