XU and the Cooperation and Cultural Section of the French Embassy in Manila signed a Memorandum of Agreement on Wednesday, June 29, 2011.

The MOA intends to develop cooperation for the improvement of the French Language program through scholarships, the exchange of Faculty and students between France and the Philippines, collaboration for specific research projects and the organization of cultural activities especially for Filipino and French movies.

 The MOA was signed by Fr. Roberto C. Yap, SJ, XU President and Mr. Christian Mérer, Cultural Attaché, in the presence of Dr. Hilly Ann Roa Quiaoit, Vice-President for Research and Social Outreach, Dr. Dulce R. Dawang, Dean, College of Arts and Sciences , Mr. Hobart Savior, Director for Culture and the Arts, and Mrs. Elisabeth B. Enerio, Director, Office of International Networking and Cooperation.
