The XU-KKP Volunteers initiated the 1st outdoor flash mob with an Oblation Run spoof.  Five “oblation runners” taking different directions made their way in front of the Magis Complex. Five placards bearing the five letters of peace were then raised behind them.  The runners, with the volunteers and faculty program officers, danced to Francis M’s “Ito ang Gusto Ko.”

The song was especially chosen since it conveys the meaning of peace.  While singing and dancing, the volunteers held placards bearing words taken from the song: katarungan (justice), kalayaan (freedom), kapayapaan (peace), karapatan pang tao (human rights), kaibigan (friendship), karangalan (dignity), kalusugan (good health) , kagitingan (heroism) and kapatiran (brotherhood).

The flash mob was initiated in celebration of the Mindanao Week of Peace.
