Xavier Science Foundation, Inc and Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA) together with the XU-Office of International Cooperation and Networking hold CINEDUKASYON – Xavier Film Appreciation Program and Scientific Film Festival as part of XCCA’s Artistic Excellence: Cinema and Cultural Education Program through film. 

CINEDUKASYON fuses two components: a showcase on NCCA funded films or CINEMALAYA Films with special priority on films by Mindanao Film makers, and Documentary Films on Science and Environment from various European countries as provided by the Goethe Institut. 

This big film festival gives our Northern Mindanao audience a chance to watch award winning films that are seldom shown in the provinces. CINEDUKASYON also features scientific films for the purpose of extending Science Education through documentary films on Environment, Biodiversity, Climate Change, Energy, History and Culture. 

CINEDUKASYON is on November 24-26, 2011 in various venues such as XU Little Theater, SM Cinema 2, XU Grade School and Capitol University.
