Xavier University and Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts will hold ArteKultura 5: Popular Culture on Music and Social Media Arts on July 11, 8 am at the XU Little Theater. 

On its 5th year, ArteKultura will feature the lectures "Mula kay Cindy Hanggang kay Lady: One Direction Nga Lang Ba ang Pagtotono ng Ating Musika?"; "Sagisag at Salaysay: Basa, Base, Busisi sa Kontexto ng Kulturang Popular" by Prof German Gervacio; and "Mapping the Strains of Youth in the Music of Eraserheads and other media biases" by Prof Anne Catherine Ticao-Acenas. 

ArteKultura is XCCA’s flagship project for its Cultural Education Program that aims at bringing the best culture and art practices closer to the community, namely students, faculty and LGUs of Northern Mindanao. 

Registration for professionals is P150.00 and P50.00 for students.
