The Philosophy departments of Xavier University, Ateneo de Davao University and Ateneo de Zamboanga University will be holding the annual Mindanao inter-Ateneo conference on Oct 17-20 at Xavier University. This year, the theme is “The Contribution of Philosophy to Education.”

Since 1992, the Philosophy conference of the Ateneo schools in Mindanao has been a venue for sharing ideas and addressing contemporary issues affecting society. Past themes include “Teaching Philosophy”, “Philosophy and Politics”, and the “Philosophy of Education,” among others.
