The National Service Training Program (NSTP) and Kristohanong Katilingban sa Pagpakabana – Social Involvement Office (KKP-SIO) have implemented this school year the Xavier Engaged and Experienced Leadership (XEEL) Program.
XEEL is a leadership formation program intended for sophomore students taking up NSTP. It aims to develop the skills and competencies necessary for leadership and involvement vis-à-vis the Ignatian Formation of Xavier Education.

The aXEELmbly, which was held on August 21 at the Manresa Tagbuan Center, re-oriented NSTP Leaders with the principles and characteristics of Jesuit leadership, its social dimension, and its challenges. It is hoped that their NSTP engagement will help them in their leadership role in the community.

Formators of XEEL also partook in the 1st eXEELence, a skills training seminar that focused on facilitation and group handling, on September 16.

XU President Fr Bobby Yap SJ encouraged the NSTP student leaders to participate in the house build at Xavier Ecoville and to make Ninoy and Jessie Robredo models of selfless leadership, just as Xavier teaches.

XELL is the second of Xavier’s Ladderized Social Formation Framework.
