Dulaang Atenista, the resident theater company of Xavier University, presents its 1st production for this season, “Ang Pinakamakisig sa mga Nalunod sa Buong Daigdig,” an adaptation from Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s “The Handsomest Drowned Man in the World.”

The play centers on five native women from a far away island who discover a dead body of a man at their shore. As they unravel his face, they instantly fall in love with the corpse and soon find themselves at peace with each other.

The play is slated on August 20-24, & 27, 2012, 7:30 pm for all gala shows at the XU Little Theater.

Ticket prices are at P70.00 for the premiere night on August 20, 2012, and Php 50.00 for the gala shows. There is a matinee show on August 22, 2012 at 3 pm for P30.00.
