The conference, held from 2 to 5 October 2024, with the theme "IMAGINING (DE)COLONIZATION: Reflections, Directions, Actions," provided a platform for students to share their research and engage in discourse and networking with leading Sociologists of the Philippines and delegates from International Universities, Colleges, and Organizations. Registration to participate in the 3-day conference was generously provided by the College of Arts and Sciences – Parents and Faculty Council (CAS – PFC).

The participation of these students in the international conference is a testament to the robust whole person education (WPE) academic training in the Xavier Ateneo Sociology program. The program's strong theoretical and methodological foundation equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to engage in academic and professional discourses.

This milestone is demonstrative of the Xavier Ateneo Sociology program's capacity, capability, and commitment to producing socially conscious, skilled, and academically competent Sociologists. May this achievement that exceeds expectation for undergraduate work be a source of inspired dedication and passion for Xavier Ateneo researchers.
