All four examinees of Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan Chemistry pass the Chemists Licensure Examination held on 14-15 October 2024. The successful examinees are (1) Bico, Juveryl Esdrilon, (2) Cagoco, Chrisel Mae Superales, (3) Manaois, Dulcie Vita Bulaybulay, and (4) Villaristo, Johnsan Loie Angus. Meanwhile, in the Chemical Technicians Licensure Examination held on 16 October 2024, XU obtained a rating of 93.94% with 31 out of 33 passing the exam. Nationwide, 594 out of 1,088 (54.41%) passed the Chemists Licensure Examination. For the Chemical Technicians Licensure Examination, 2,110 out of 2,711 examinees (77.83%) passed.

To celebrate the achievement of the Chemistry Department, a Thanksgiving celebration was held in the Dynasty Court Hotel on 30 October 2024. The event was sponsored by Xavier University and the College of Arts and Sciences-Parent Faculty Council (CAS-PFC). In attendance were CAS Dean Judy Sendaydiego, PhD, the CAS-PFC officers, and the Chemistry Department faculty and staff together with the department’s new chemists and chemical technicians, joined by their loved ones.
