A total of 1,933 students graduated from the National Service Training Program on March 8. The ceremony was held at the XU Gym. There were 380 graduates of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps, 451 graduates of the Literacy Training Service and 1102 graduates of Civic Welfare Training Service.

The graduation ceremony held at the XU Gym was graced by actress-activist Mae Paner as keynote speaker. She told the graduates that  every day is an opportunity to change. “The power of change is your power of love. The future depends on what you do today,” she shared.

The National Service Training Program also known as RA 1963 is aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the youth by developing the ethics of service and patriotism while undergoing training in any of its three program components (Reserve Officers' Training Corps, Literacy Training Service and Civic Welfare Training Service).
