As a charter member, the XU Libraries, along with the XU Press, participated in the 40th Anniversary of the Acadcemic Libraries Book Acquisition Systems Association (ALBASA) Inc on May 28 - 30 at Sacred Heart Center Cebu, Cebu City.

The celebration consisted of talks on educational reform, particularly the Kto12 implementation and its impact to library resources, services and linkages; book fairs; and a fellowship night.

XU's Director of Libraries, Ms Estrella Cabudoy, is the ALBASA vice president.
