In celebration of the Feast of St Ignatius Loyola, the First Year Formation Program will hold a Poster Making Contest with the theme “San Ignacio: Forming Student Leaders the Ateneo Way” This contest is intended for FFP students only.

The contest aims to illustrate students’ understanding and appreciation of St Ignatius Loyola as founder of the Society of Jesus and as someone who inspires students to find God in all things. The work and legacy of St Ignatius form the strong foundation of Jesuit Education that seeks to form and train students to be servant leaders. All posters will be showcased through an exhibition at the Magis Bldg exhibit area from July 29 to August 3, 2013.

1. The contest is a class requirement. The class will choose 1 representative. One (1) entry per class.

2. Use of photographs, images and artwork from the internet/publications are accepted.

3. The poster must capture the following: a. Works of St Ignatius Loyola b. Legacy of St Ignatius Loyola to the Jesuit Schools/Ateneo c. Inspiration of St Ignatius in forming student leaders the Ateneo the Way d. How StIgnatius influenced their formation/training as student leaders

4. The poster may be hand-drawn using any medium, digitally illustrated using any software application, or a combination of media (i.e. mixed media).

5. Specifications of poster a. Size: 12x18 inches b. File type: JPEG, 300 dpi c. Portrait d. Format of filename: FFP Section & Name of Student e. Short description/explanation of artist’s concept. f. Submit soft copy (CD/DVD/USB)

6. All posters will be exhibited at MAGIS building exhibit area.

7. Selected University Admin, Faculty or staff will judge the posters. It will be uploaded in the university’s official web site.

8. Criteria: a. Originality 30% b. Artist’s concept in relation to theme 50% c. Overall visual impact 20%

9. The winning students will receive Gift Certificates and tokens from the FFP. All students of the participating section will receive additional points.

10. Deadline of entries is on July 29, 2013
