A week has gone by since the Tabang Zamboanga Relief Operation. As of September 23, the total donations remitted to the finance office has amounted to P211,711.02. There are over two hundred sacks of clothes sorted by KKP Volunteers, NSTP students, and Philosophy students while there are 250 boxes of assorted canned goods.

The relief goods shall be transported through the C-130 aircraft. KKP is closely coordinating with Fr Willy Samson, SJ with regards to tonnage of goods as well as date and time of pickup of goods at Zamboanga airport.

Nevertheless, Xavier University’s gates are open to accept donations in kind at the Peace Park. Volunteer students are also collecting cash donations at Limketkai and Centrio malls.
