Two XU research received recognition in the InvENT 2025 International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Computing, Engineering, and Science Education. XUJHS Principal Ms Lea Lilibeth Emata, LPT, MaEd was awarded Best Presenter for her paper entitled “Maker Education Technology: A Study on Usage and Acceptance” in the Innovation for Education In-Person Category. Ms Marie Antonette Emata, CPA, DM from the Accountancy Department of the SBM, received the Best Paper and Best Presenter Awards for her research titled “The Influence of Barriers, Drivers, and Enablers toward Sustainable Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises” in the Entrepreneurial Solutions/Entrepreneurship In-Person Category.

The International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Computing, Engineering, and Science Education (ATU-Net InvENT) 2025 took place on 23 to 24 July 2025 at the Limketkai Luxe Hotel. With the theme "Empowering Education for Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship," the conference provided a global platform for participants to share cutting-edge research ideas and collaborate on projects that drive innovation and entrepreneurship. The 2-day hybrid conference showcased 91 In-person and 104 Virtual Research presentations and was attended by researchers from the Philippines and higher education institutions across Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, India, Bangladesh, the People’s Republic of China, Uzbekistan, and Pakistan.
