Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan (Xavier University) has been formally accepted as a member of the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Network, a global initiative dedicated to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through higher education.
The confirmation was conveyed through official communication from Times Higher Education, which welcomed Xavier University to what it described as “a dynamic, diverse global community of future-facing universities ready to lead the global drive for peace and prosperity for people and the planet.”
The Sustainability Impact Network provides universities with access to performance benchmarking, research analysis, peer networking, and platforms for knowledge-sharing in the field of sustainable development. Through its membership, Xavier University is now eligible to participate in the THE Sustainability Impact Ratings, which assess universities’ contributions to the SDGs across teaching, research, outreach, and stewardship.
