Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan College of Agriculture finalized its General Academic Cooperation Agreement with Stephen F Austin State University (SFASU) through a Memorandum of Agreement signing on 23 September 2025 via Zoom.

University President Fr Mars P Tan SJ represented XU together with Aggies Dean-OIC Dr Maria Rosario Mosqueda. Representing SFASU were University President Dr Neal Weaver and Agriculture Department Chair Dr Douglas Smith. Also present at the MOA signing were XU Vice President for Higher Education Dr Juliet Q Dalagan, College of Agriculture faculty members, the Communications and Promotions Office, Archie Tamayo, Dr Jose Llobrera, and Dr Benjamin Albarece of the Philippine Department of Agriculture. SFASU’s Randy Pauly, Dr Hans Williams and Dr Joe Mask also witnessed the signing.

The Agreement between SFASU and XU aims to build a mutually beneficial educational partnership by outlining the scope of collaboration between the two institutions. It covers joint efforts such as faculty and student research projects, academic and creative activities, exchange of teaching personnel and students at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and the sharing of publications and materials of common interest.
