Xavier University Grade School strengthened its commitment to serve others through an outreach program held last 15 November 2025, at Hasaan Hu Katatau Ta Kinulungen, an IP School located in Lirongan, Talakag, Bukidnon.
Guided by XUGS’ mission of forming persons for others, teachers from the Math, Science, and Computer Departments joined the initiative, engaging with the children and helping facilitate the day’s activities. Thanks to the generosity of XUGS parents, the young learners received essential school supplies that will support their continued education.

One of the highlights of the visit was the opportunity for the 51 beneficiaries to interact with and operate the Cody Rocky robots. For many of the children, it was their first chance to explore this kind of educational technology, opening space for excitement, curiosity, and learning. The experience was equally enriching for the outreach organizers, who gained valuable insights from the community’s resourcefulness, warmth, and perspectives.
The outreach served not only as a moment of generosity but also as a meaningful exchange between communities. It embodied XUGS’ ongoing dedication to extending compassion, promoting educational opportunities, and creating spaces where both partners learn and grow together.

This initiative stands as a reminder of the school’s unwavering commitment to service, empowering young minds, fostering solidarity, and nurturing a culture of giving strengthened by the wisdom of the communities we accompany, and grounded in simple acts of service that need not be grand but are meaningful, intentional, and sincere.
