Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan, through the Communications and Promotions Office and the Office of Student Affairs, welcomed Senior High School students from different schools in Northern Mindanao in its second Campus Tour in the last four years on 8 November 2025. More than 1,022 students pre-registered online for the event, and despite the rains, over 200 students from various schools across Cagayan de Oro, Gingoog, Iligan, Marawi, Bukidnon, and nearby areas were able to visit the Xavier University campus to learn more about its colleges and academic programs. The event offered them a closer look at what it means to study at Xavier Ateneo and helped prospective students get a sense of the campus spirit and environment.

The program featured an inspirational message from University President Fr Mars P Tan, SJ, who emphasized that Xavier University is committed not only to academic excellence but also to the holistic development of its students. He also presented the university’s new promotional video, which will be officially unveiled to the public soon.

Participants enjoyed lively performances by the XU Band and the CAS Cheerdance Team, adding energy and warmth to the program. Student organizations also prepared creative displays, giving visitors opportunities to ask questions, learn about campus life, and explore avenues for involvement.

Campus tours took participants through facilities, classrooms, and laboratories across the different colleges. These visits gave them a clearer picture of university life and the programs they may pursue.

The event provided a meaningful firsthand experience of the Xavier Ateneo community, its people, spaces, and spirit, helping prospective students imagine themselves as part of the university in the future.
