Xavier University recognizes the outstanding achievement of Carl Vincent P Malinao, who ranked Top 1 in the March 2026 Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination and Top 3 in the March 2026 Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination.

Carl’s performance reflects the hard work and discipline he has shown throughout his academic journey. More than a result of dedication and perseverance, his success also points to something deeper—one grounded in faith. It serves as an inspiration to pursue excellence through God’s grace. He shared:
“This achievement would never have been possible without God’s grace. His guidance has been integral to my success in the Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians Licensure Examinations, garnering the Top 1 and Top 3 places, respectively.
To aspiring professionals in any field: aim high and make an impact! Develop a love for learning, and it will benefit you greatly. Most of all, never stop enjoying what you do.”

His journey toward graduating summa cum laude and becoming a board topnotcher is rooted in consistent discipline, effective time management, and a deep commitment to learning. Ultimately, his success is shaped by perseverance and a strong sense of purpose.
Despite achieving high academic honors, [he] remains grounded, approachable, and respectful toward both peers and mentors. His humility allows him to recognize that learning is a continuous process, remaining open to new ideas and feedback. He serves as a reminder that excellence paired with humility creates a lasting impact.
