From 15 to 16 April 2026, the Philippine S&T Development (PhilDev) Foundation visited its scholars and Young Banatao Learning Lab (YBLL) participants at Campion Hall, Xavier University.

The two-day visit brought together scholars for a series of one-on-one sessions and a plenary gathering focused on updates and kamustahan for the YBLL community.

The activity provided a space for scholars to reconnect with the foundation and reflect on their academic and personal growth. It also highlighted PhilDev’s continuing support for student development and leadership formation.

Four scholars of PhilDev were represented, namely seniors Jysel Ashley Ayop (BSIS-4), and Fruee Jane Jaquilmac (BSIT-4) alongside sophomores Janna Katarina Nuelle S Obispo (BSCS-2) and Casimir Elijah L Bajarla (BSCS-2).

The visitation of YBLL scholars included STEM and business students from the basic technology and finance track. The roster included:

Through the sessions, participants were able to share their experiences and receive encouragement as they continue their studies.

The visit underscored the importance of mentorship, community, and sustained support in shaping future STEM leaders as men and women for others in the 21st century.
