Xavier University through its Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA) will hold an “Understanding K-12 Arts and Sports Tracks” symposium on September 10, 8AM to 12 noon at the XU Little Theater (XULT).

This event is open for private high schools and higher educational institutions, and aims to provide necessary information, guidelines and details of strands on the preparation of the arts and sports programs based on the new curriculum.

The resource speakers are Dr Ninian Alcasid and Prof Raymund Antolo, both from the Department of Education (DepEd) Region 10.

In line with this, XCCA invites the senior high heads, Music, Arts, Physical Education, Health (MAPEH) department chairpersons and sports coordinators to the symposium. Admission is free.

XCCA will provide a certificate of participation at the end of the program.
