The Xavier Stage, a resident repertory theater company of Xavier University, presents Joseph Kesselring’s “Arsenic and Old Lace” as adapted by Roger Garcia on December 15 – 19 at the XU Little Theater.
Arsenic and Old Lace is the second production of TXS’s 4th Theatre Season dubbed as “Misteryo.” This production forms part of TXS’s 4th anniversary special.
The play is reputed for being a clever combination of the absurd and the morbid. The play centers on two elderly sisters who are famous in their neighborhood for their numerous acts of charity. However, their charity includes poisoning lonely old men who visit their home.
This production is part of the formation and art appreciation program targets through Artistic Excellence: Drama of Xavier Culture for and the Arts (XCCA).
