The Xavier Stage (TXS), a resident repertory theater company of Xavier University has been invited to perform in Pasinaya 2015 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Pasay City, Metro Manila on February 15, Sunday.

TXS will perform a 20-minute excerpt called “Mamayamban Ug Sameyarah” (Pyramus and Thisbe) of William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Pasinaya is a multi-arts festival organized by the CCP and considered to be the largest festival of its kind in the country with over 300 shows in music, theater, dance, visual arts, film and literature.

The festival sets to draw together more than 3000 artists across the country to perform, and celebrate Filipino talents and creativity.
 
TXS is composed of members of XU faculty, non-teaching staff, students and alumni, under the directorship of Hobart Savior, who is also the director of Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA).
