Hobart P Savior serves as director of Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts and is the executive artistic director of The Xavier Stage. He served as assistant secretary to the National Committee on Dramatic Arts of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. He is finishing his post graduate courses on Language Studies at the Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology while teaching Literature and Language courses at the English department of the College of Arts and Sciences of Xavier University.

Savior directs, acts and manages art programs and film festivals. He joined the Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG) for chorus roles in the first staging of “Datu Matu” in 1995, and took the lead role for the musicale's featured staging to celebrate the Cultural Center of the Philippines - Outreach's silver year. He also played lead actor for “Ming Ming, Uwahig, Isa Pang Kawing and Suhi.” He received positive reviews for his direction of “Patas,” “New Yorker sa Tambacan,” “Dalawang Komedya,” “Barracks ni Tenyente Fuego,” “The Post Office,” “A Respectable Wedding,” “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “Titus Andronicus,” “Ten Little Indians” and his recent production “Arsenic and Old Lace,” among others. He has directed various productions and variety shows at XU, and he is the author and festival director of Cinemagis – Digital Short Film Festival in Northern Mindanao. Savior has performed for the Singapore Initiation International Festival and acted in the independent film “All Things New.”
