Xavier University – Governance and Leadership Institute (XU-GLI), in partnership with Human Resource and Development Unit (HRDU) of the Department of Health Region 10, facilitated a strategic management workshop for the program managers and department heads of DOH-X on June 16-18.

Held at the Pearlmont Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City, the workshop, led by XU-GLI director Dr Dixon Yasay, aimed at familiarizing competencies on strategic management and conceptual thinking.

Through games such as pyramid building, tower building, pipeline, and puzzle box, the competencies were simulated in the workshop.

GLI continues to engage in the capacitating organizations and local government units as part of XU thematic goal on governance under its Research and Social Outreach (RSO) cluster.
