Xavier University - Governance and Leadership Institute (XU-GLI), in partnership with Xavier Ecoville Project team, conducted a leadership training for the officers of Xavier Ecoville Homeowners Association (XEHA).
The training included review sessions on the Bridging Leadership Framework (BLF) and the competencies expected of the bridging leader; reporting on what has been achieved by the officers through leadership reflection sessions; and developing multi-stakeholder dialogue skills and strategies in improving community participation.
XU - Peace Program coordinator Engr Gail de la Rita facilitated the session on dialogue skills while XU-Sustainable Sanitation project officer Meiyoshi Masgon facilitated the session on the strategies that will help improve community participation.
The said training was the second module of the XEHA Leadership Program, a joint extension program of XEP team and GLI under XU’s Research and Social Outreach (RSO) cluster.
