The Graduate School of Xavier University, in partnership with the Governance and Leadership Institute (GLI), will hold its 2015 Graduate Research Forum on September 19 with the theme "Enhancing the Research Culture in the Graduate Programs III.”
The said forum, to be held at the XU Little Theater from 8AM to 5PM, will feature the presentations of the research outputs of the faculty members of the Graduate School.
The Graduate Research Forum is an annual activity that provides a platform for the exchange of ideas across disciplines for established and emerging researchers, scholars, teachers, graduate students and other practitioners from various professional fields.
Through the years, XU has been active in conducting research and social outreach programs on issues in governance, asset creation and distribution for the poor, food security, health, environmental stewardship, and peace and development in Mindanao.
Now on its third installment, this event is also in consonance with the mandates from the Commission on Higher Education (CMO 46, S2012; CMO 09, S2003) for colleges and universities in the country to engage in research.
