Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts, XU - National Service Training Program, Governance and Leadership Institute and Kristohanong Katilingban sa Pagpakabana - Social Involvement Office invite you to watch the first installment of The Xavier Stage’s Advocacy Theatre titled "Gamutin ang Bayan"— a twinbill prodcution of of Romeo Narvaez’s "Dula Ta" and Layeta Bucoy’s "Doc Resureccion: Gagamutin ang Bayan."

Dula Ta is about the realities of war in Mindanao through the lens of children. Doc Resureccion: Gagamutin ang Bayan is a Palanca Award-winning play that tackles the issue of poverty perpetrated by greed and the evils of politics.

Both plays are about biases and interests that are shaped and motivated by poverty, identity politics, corruption, power and unjust vexations. This twinbill show also supports XU's advocacies on peace, good governance and voters’ education.

Gamutin ang Bayan is slated on September 21-26, 2015 at the XU Little Theater.
