Everyone’s invited to watch this year’s lineup of films, which center on the theme of "light."
Goethe-Institut in partnership with Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan, Liceo de Cagayan University and Capitol University will hold the Science Film Festival 2015. The films this year focus on the theme “Light” in accordance with the celebration of United Nation’s International Year of Light.
The project was initiated by the Goethe-Institut Bangkok in 2005 and developed into an international event in 2010.
The festival presents films, which communicate technological and scientific issues accessibly and entertainingly to a broad audience, especially to young pupils and students. Through this approach, the festival encourages a culture of science films that effectively combines education and entertainment, demonstrating that science communication and learning can be fun.
