Xavier University is offering its students another opportunity to study abroad. The school has recently signed an interuniversity cooperation agreement with the Université de Montpellier in Montpellier, France for a student exchange program.

This partnership is specifically for fourth year and MBA students of the School of Business and Management at XU who wish to study at the IAE Montpellier University School of Management.

IAE Montpellier offers undergraduate and post graduate programs in management, specifically, Bachelor in International Management and Business, Graduate in International Business, and Master in International Business. All these programs are taught in English.

Through this agreement, XU and the Université de Montpellier hope to promote and develop academic and research activities between both universities.

Montpellier is a vibrant city located in southern France along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the leading destinations for studies, business and tourism in France.

XU’s Office of International Cooperation and Networking (OICN) director Elisabeth Enerio said that XU is ready to send student/s by the opening of classes in June this year, and to host exchange student/s from Université de Montpellier by September. The program is limited to one exchange student per university for the full academic year (two semesters) or two exchange students per university for one semester each.

XU students who are interested should visit OICN and/or the School of Business and Management for specific requirements and application deadlines.

Last October, XU partnered with the Institute of Agriculture, Food Industry, Environment and Landscape Management of the Université Catholique of Lille, the largest private university in France, also for a student exchange program.
