This same tenderness is present in the lives of all those persons who attend the sick and understand their needs, even the most imperceptible ones, because they look upon them with eyes full of love (Message for the 24th World Day of the Sick 2016),” Yap said in his message to the academic community.
“We thank once again Dean Ramona Heidi C Palad, the faculty and staff of the College of Nursing for the excellent guidance and support they steadfastly provide our students,” he added.
Since it was recognized by the Commission on Higher Education in 1992 and graduated its first batch in 1993, XU – College of Nursing continues to strive “to remain the country's leading provider of quality nursing education to provide Filipinos, both local and global clientele, the best health service in the world.”
This achievement came on the heels of the declaration from the Commission on Higher Education, recognizing XU’s Agriculture program as a Center of Excellence, and the Chemical Engineering, Literature, and Biology programs as Centers of Development.
