The Governance and Leadership Institute (GLI) of Xavier University recently conducted a performance review workshop to the officials of the local government unit of Initao, Misamis Oriental.

The workshop, dubbed as “Kasaulogan sa Kalampusan,” gathered the LGU’s Sangguniang Bayan and Sangguniang Barangay officials who were grouped according to their respective committees: health, infrastructure, sports, environment, appropriation, education, peace and order, and agriculture.

The workshop was aimed at evaluating performance of the current administration and setting local agenda to serve as guide for the next administration.

“Maayo kini nga workshop kay nakita namo ang among nabuhat sulod sa term ug naghatag usab kini og ideas kung unsay tutukan sa sunod nga administrasyon,” said Initao Municipal Mayor Enerito Acain.

(This is a great workshop because we were able to see what we have done in this term and it has given ideas on what the next administration should focus on.)

The workshop was anchored on Peter Singe’s Principles of Learning Organizations.
