Three Xavier pupils from the Macasandig campus of Xavier University Grade School emerged victorious in the storytelling contest organized by Cagayan de Oro Association of Private Elementary Schools (CAPES) on January 21.

Heisha Mhyabela B Amerol was hailed champion in the preschool category with her coach Jonah N Margate.

Daniane Mya E Torrevillas won the championship in Category B (Grades 1 and 2) with her coach Maria Victoria S Celedona.

In Category D (Grades 5 and 6), Noela Allexine S Cabanaz landed in the 1st runner-up spot with her coach Angelina Mitta Lai Paderanga.

Nineteen private schools across the city participated in the CAPES event.
