The Xavier University chapter of the American Field Service, alongside the SIRAJ Muslim Religious Organization, Kaliwat Ki Apo Agyo, XU Social Development Cluster, and the Assembly of Extra-curricular Organizations, will conduct a university-wide initiative to celebrate our differences and common interests through Ambit Kultura. With the theme, “Advocating Unity and Harmony through Celebrating the Beauty in Diversity,” the event will be held from September 19 to 24 at the XU Peace Park.
Ambit Kultura is a week-long celebration of culture and diversity which aims to raise awareness among the members of the XU community on the importance of intercultural dialogue, diversity, and inclusion. As stated in the school’s Magna Carta, “Xavier is devoted to the appreciation, preservation, and enrichment of the Filipino culture and heritage.” Thus, in this celebration, we are going to showcase the diversity of students in our own university, who are from different tribes, religions, and nationalities.
