Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan High School Crusaders hailed the school’s banner high at this year's Jesuit Athletics Meet (JAM), hosted by Ateneo de Davao University in Davao City from November 3 to 8.
XUHS Crusaders took home the championships in badminton and chess.
Both in futsal and swimming, the XUHS players landed as the overall first runner-up of the said sports meet.
The XUHS Cusaders VASP successfully hauled and brought home 20 gold medals, 26 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals.
Close to 900 athletes and coaches of Jesuits schools joined in JAM 2016, namely, Ateneo de Manila University, Ateneo de Naga University, Loyola College of Culion, Ateneo de Iloilo University, Sacred Heart School - Ateneo de Cebu, Xavier School, XU - Ateneo de Cagayan, Ateneo de Davao University, and Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
Besides the sporting events, JAM 2016 also featured coaches and athletes forum underscoring the Jesuit education in balancing sports and academics.
