This essay-writing contest, organized and sponsored by the XU Junior High School Student Formation cluster (headed by the assistant principal for formation, Samuel Macagba III), formed part of the celebration of the 2017 Mission and Ministry Week with the theme “Misyon Marawi: Ako, Ikaw para sa Kalinaw,” held from September 8 to 16.

The contest was designed to collect different and rich experiences stories of peace from the JHS students, faculty, and staff, in relation to their dreams and aspirations to the people of Marawi.
