Xavier Ateneo’s Graduate School alumni, faculty, students, and sponsors gathered once again for the 2017 Graduate Convocation on Saturday, December 2.

The day started with outreach activities at the Boystown Center and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology - Region 10 Female Residents in Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City, two regular beneficiaries of their extension efforts.   

After the activities in Lumbia, a Mass was celebrated at the University Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 5:30PM. A Christmas dinner-for-a-cause followed at the Magis Roof Deck with a theme “Generation Reversed.”

XU Graduate School Alumni Association president Dr Michael B Roa and Graduate School Student Council president Laurence Sumando welcomed the participants. Graduate School dean Dr Isaias S Sealza also gave an inspiring message to the attendees of the event. 

Grad School Student Council president Lindy Valdevilla also gave a report of last year’s donations and an initial discussion of the next projects.  

Xavier University Graduate School wishes to express its sincere gratitude to those who, in one way or the other, had contributed to the success of the recently-concluded Graduate School Convocation: “Engaging the Self for the Boystown Juvenile and BJMP-10 Female Residents.∎
