To further limit the threat of COVID-19, the city government of Cagayan de Oro issued EO #55 to regulate the activity of public markets and discourage unnecessary prolonging of stay in these areas. 

The executive order sets the operations of public markets from 5:00 in the morning to 7:00 in the evening of the same day before it is closed. After closure, appropriate disinfection activities are done by the city government in the entire market facility and its surrounding roads.
