With the rising number of cases of COVID-19 patients in the country and reports of people gathering in sizable numbers in the city, the city government implements the use of Barangay Exit Pass to regulate movements within Cagayan de Oro city. 

With the Exit Pass policy, only people with such passes are allowed to leave their houses for essential purposes. Essential workers are also asked to present their Employment Identification Cards to barangay officials or personnel. Immediate medical attention excludes a person from the use of the exit passes.
