Rediscover the Forgotten Kingdom in Balangay at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair

Through vivid narratives, Paulma transports readers into the Kingdom of Butuan, where they'll "meet the old Butuanons,
the community or barangay members who built the balangay without the use of blueprints."
These skilled seafarers and artisans passed down their maritime traditions orally, as "boats were the only means of transportation at that time."

Paulma's words beckon you to "rediscover for yourself that which was lost, replaced, or erased, and what it truly means to be a Filipino."
Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Balangay and let this captivating collection transport you to a forgotten maritime kingdom,
where the enduring spirit of the Filipino people shines brightly.
