National Environmental Awareness Month was declared by virtue of Republic Act No. 9512 signed in 2008. It aims to promote awareness, especially among the youth, on the importance of protecting the environment and natural resources and the sustainable growth and development of our country.
Proclamation No. 1109 issued in 1997 declared the same month as “Clean Air Month” aims to educate people about the impact that clean air has on our lives and encourages people to take positive steps to improve the air quality – both locally and globally.

The Move for More RUN & WALK is open to all and marks a historic moment in Xavier history. The Run & Walk will come from 2 different starting points: 1) 5kilometer Uphill Run & Walk from our Main Campus and 2) 2kilometer Fun Run & Walk from our Uptown Campus. See you at the finish line at Manresa Gate 1!
