What: Author Writeshop: Research Publication Ethics and Publishing on an International Journal

10:15AM - 12:00NN | Research Publication Ethics and Author Workshop | This training will provide guidance on the selection process for academic journals, helping participants identify the most suitable outlets for their research findings and maximizing the impact of their publications. With the author workshop participants will learn how to choose the right journal for your research publication, improve on writing skills, and set expectations before submitting a publication to an international indexed journal. |
This is primarily designed for ScienceDirect users. DOST- 10, can provide free science direct/Elsevier accounts. If your institution is interested in joining the writeshop, please feel free to reach out.
Please note that before we provide the accounts, we will have to endorse your institution to the regional director.

Testing Dates:
NEW/KINDERGARTEN - Schedules are on weekdays starting 19 February 2025
TRANSFEREES - Schedules are on Saturdays starting 15 March 2025
(Registration for Transferees opens on 3 March 2025)

Requirements to Upload:
- PSA BIRTH CERTIFICATE
- (For incoming Kindergarten, they must be at least 5 years old by 30 September 2025)
- REPORT CARD WITH LRN (Learner’s Reference Number)
- (Not required for incoming Kindergarten, but if with previous schooling background, please upload the document)
- FORMAL ID PICTURE (i.e 1X1, 2X2, Passport-size)

- Register for the exam online through: bit.ly/XUGSApply
- Fill in all information in the Profile and Entrance Test Tabs
- Important Note: For Kindergarten, you will be asked to choose a CLASS schedule (AM or PM). Once you choose an EXAM schedule, it will also show you for what CLASS Schedule your child will be enrolled in. If it shows For AM Class Schedule, and you want to enroll in the PM Class Schedule or vice versa, please choose another EXAM schedule. If there's none, as slots are limited per day, please check every Wednesday because we will update EXAM schedules for the next week. For Example:
- Your application will be for Pre-screening. Check your email within 1-2 days for the Verified Email.
- Follow instructions in the Verified Email to pay the 250.00 pesos exam fee (plus 35.00 pesos online payment processing fee) ONLINE (GCash, Paymaya, select Cards.)
- Check email within 1-2 days for the exam permit containing the exam details.
